GVC Online Course
Here is the selection of the 3 GVC based Courses we offer:
Online GVC Course - £299
The online course is Part 2 of the full course and consists of additional online theoretical training and testing.
The Student MUST complete and pass Part 1 which is the A2 Certificate of Competency before enrolling on PART 2 of the full course the GVC.
Once complete the student then books and attends a CDT's testing location for their GVC flight test.
The theoretical part of the online course is completed in the comfort of your own home on the device of your choosing.
As you work through the course you can test your knowledge with our free GVC mock tests.
Once the course is complete you can choose to access the comprehensive 40+ question mock test, completing this test gives you the confidence to undertake the online theory test with ease.
The main GVC theoretical test is then completed on-line (invigilated by a CDT examiner using your webcam).
After the successful completion of the theoretical testing phase, a date and time for your GVC flight test will be organised.
One to One Two Hour Intensive GVC Training - £99
The Intensive training builds on the benefits of completing the GVC online course but gives the student an additional TWO HOURS of Zoom-based face to face call refresher training with an examiner ensuring the student is ready for the 44-question multiple choice GVC theoretical test.
There is a structure and agenda to the Intensive training, but the One-to-One tuition gives you the opportunity talk though any questions and cover topic or items on which you may feel you need extra help or guidance.
Students must have completed PART 1 the A2 Certificate of Competency before enrolling on the GVC Intensive Training and Refresher Course
The student will complete the theory test at the end of the Intensive Training Refresher session and then move onto the flight test arranged for a separate time.
The cost of this One-to-One intensive GVC Training is £99.
Your Flight Test Location
The students can arrange their flight test at any one of our 10 flight test locations throughout the UK.
As an alternative the examiner may be able to come to your location, depending if the grounds or flight test location is suitable.
If you provide a Postcode and brief description of the location when you contact the examiner they will give you a decision on if this visit to you option is possible.
Traditional GVC Ground School Course - £599
The traditional course is a 2-day classroom-based instructor led ground school course.
The course includes:
- 2-day ground school culminating with 44 question multiple choice theory test
- Operations Manual writing workshop
- GVC Flight training and testing
- Practical flight planning overview
- Help with online CAA application for Operational Authorisation
Please Note: At the end of all GVC courses the student applies through the CAA website for an Operational Authorisation. The processing fee paid by the student directly to the CAA during the online application is £254.
